The Steamfitters Local 602 offers self insured Medical, Pension,
Annuity and Training program.
Our retirement benefits consist of an exceptional Pension Plan – a
guaranteed amount of income you will receive upon your retirement. Your
total benefit will be based upon several factors, but is primarily
determined by the number of hours you work. The longer you work in
Steamfitters Local 602, the higher your Pension will be!
To supplement the Pension, Steamfitters Local 602 provides a Retirement
Savings Plan. Your employer contributes to this savings plan on your
behalf, and your earning are based on the return of the fund(s) you
select.
Our Medical Plan covers you and your eligible dependents when you’re
sick, injured or need prescription drugs. You’re also covered when you
require vision care or dental care (subject to the eligibility
provisions of the Plan). In addition, the Plan provides a benefit if you
are unable to work as a result of a non-work related illness or
accident.
